TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III said that a nearly 2-year-old child was killed in a crash in Taunton on Oct. 18.

Quinn said that the crash occurred on Broadway around 7 p.m.

A van and an SUV collided head-on.

Quin said that a 25-year-old woman and her two children were transported to the hospital, where one was declared dead shortly after arrival.

The four male occupants of the other vehicle stayed on scene and did not appear to suffer any injuries.

The incident was under investigation.
