With the campaign for Bihar Assembly elections gaining momentum, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to address at least a dozen events, including both large and small public meetings, in the state between late October and early November, sources said.

To kick off on October 24, after the Diwali break, a majority of these events would precede the first phase of polling on November 6 while the rest were likely before the second and last phase on November 11.

The campaign will feature union ministers such as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah besides other prominent members of the cabinet, according to party insiders.
