A mum on Universal Credit says it is " degrading" to beg for money and use child maintenance as an income . The TikTok user has gone viral after she demanded people on Universal Credit from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) step up and get a job.
Emily Cutter, 37, from Somerset, urged mothers to stop “begging for money” and claimed that it is time to “step up” and “work harder.” Emily said: “Stop begging for maintenance off your baby dad - it's embarrassing, it's degrading - have some self respect and work harder.”
