MARIETTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A teenager is recovering after being shot in Marietta Saturday night, according to police.
Officers were responding to a call of multiple shots being fired in the parking lot of a shopping center located in the 500 block of Franklin Gateway after 10 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the teenage male lying between two parked cars. He was hit by gunfire and was taken to Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
According to police, evidence showed that two people had fired handguns in the parking lot. It is unknown if the teenager was involved in the altercation.
No suspects are in custody, according to police.
