Continuing its war against drug dealings, Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession.

A Spokesperson said that police party at a checkpoint established at Shajimarg–Qazipora Road near Biscoe School arrested a drug peddler identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat son of Gh Nabi Bhat resident of Gutlipora Tangmarg. During search, 20 grams of Charas-like substance was recovered from their possession. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 76/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and investigation has been initiated.
