An alleged abduction and assault in Bell County in July resulted in a long list of injuries that police said were visible on the accuser and unseen. Following the incident on July 26, the woman’s eyes, nose and lips were swollen and bruised; her face, ear and forehead were bruised; several cuts and bruising could be seen along her neckline and shoulders; bruising and scrapes were apparent on her arms; blood spots were in both eyes; and she had three bruises to the lower back. Police took the woman to an emergency room in Killeen where she was diagnosed with a fracture of the nasal bone, contusion of the face and contusion of the abdominal wall.
