EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. — A heavy police presence has gathered in Edwardsville.

Police responded to Main Street in the borough just before 1 p.m. Sunday, shutting it down between Church Street and Zerby Avenue.

There is no word yet on what brought police to that area, but officials say there is no threat to the public.
