The number of undefeated college football teams continues to shrink every week, as more upsets transpired across the country. This shook up conference standings and gave us brand new AP Poll once again.

For the Michigan Wolverines, this past weekend’s win over Washington practically saved their season, defeating a strong Big Ten team after a crushing loss to USC the week before. The AP voters rewarded them by ranking the Wolverines No. 25 in the latest poll.

Across the Big Ten, USC could not keep the hot streak going in South Bend, falling to Notre Dame, 34-24, dropping the Trojans out of the rankings and raising the Fighting Irish up to No. 12. At the top of the rankings sit No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Indiana and No. 6 Oregon, which all took down their respective opponents with ease.
