Mayor Neil Ellis said the second round of provincial funding “marks a significant milestone for our city as we progress ahead of schedule in fulfilling our 10-year commitment of 3,100 new housing units.”
The latest funds come after Premier Doug Ford personally visited Belleville City Hall on March 1, 2024 to present $1.24 million in a first round of funding under the housing fund for meeting 2023 targets.
