LINCOLN, Neb. (NCAA) - The NCAA DI women’s volleyball committee announced its in-season top-16 rankings on Sunday and Nebraska is at the top of the list.

All matches through Saturday, Oct. 18 were under consideration when determining the rankings.

The top-16 is as follows:

Nebraska

Texas

Pittsburgh

Kentucky

SMU

Louisville

Arizona State

Purdue

TCU

Creighton

Stanford

Wisconsin

Texas A&M

Indiana

Penn State

Minnesota

This marks the second year that the in-season rankings feature 16 teams. Before 2024, only the top 10 were revealed. The committee looked at the 64 teams and considered several criteria to determine their rankings, including strength of schedule, top-10 wins and head-to-head competition.
