Representatives from Front Royal and Warren County showed support on Thursday to revisit a joint tourism effort.

An attempt to join forces to market both the town and the county fell apart a few years ago, leaving both jurisdictions to take separate approaches. Now, some members of the Town Council and the Board of Supervisors want to come back to the table.

Front Royal Mayor Lori A. Cockrell and Town Councilman Joshua L. Ingram met with Board of Supervisors Chairman Jerome K. “Jay” Butler and Supervisor Richard A. Jamieson on for the Town/County Liaison Committee to discuss topics of mutual interest, beginning with tourism.
