MANJERI (MALAPPURAM): A man was killed by slitting his throat using a grass cutter machine. The police caught the accused at his house after the incident. The murdered has been identified as Praveen (35), son of Neelandan, a native of Chathangottupuram, Wandoor Porur. Moideenkutty (35), a native of Charankavu, was arrested. The incident took place near Charankavu town at 7 am yesterday.

The accused attacked Praveen when he arrived on a bike to his friend Surendran, who was waiting for him near a temporary shed near Charankavu market with a grass cutter machine.
