JABALPUR: Time and tide wait for none. Sometimes, not even a smartwatch. This is the lesson a passenger at Jabalpur station learned the hard way last week when his online samosa payment stalled and his train began chugging out. The passenger handed over his watch when a vendor allegedly grabbed his collar, threatening him and demanding payment for the snack and some other food items worth around Rs 180. The customer had got off a passing train briefly at Jabalpur to buy food on Oct 17. A viral video shows the vendor turning violent even as others look on. Realising he would miss his train, the passenger is seen quickly removing his smartwatch and handing it to the vendor before scampering to board his moving train.
