The Duchess of Sussex was brought to tears as she attended an emotional event in honour of her friend's late son .

Meghan was joined by Prince Harry at the George Zajfen Tennis Tournament in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The event was held in memory of the late George Zajfen to raise funds for the Alliance for Children's Rights – a non-profit organisation that provides legal services and resources for children in or facing foster care.

George's mum and Meghan's close friend Kelly McKee Zajfen, who is the cofounder of Alliance of Moms, spoke at the event.

Standing on the tennis court with her husband Julian and eldest daughter Lily, she thanked the alliance for holding the event in her late son's honour.
