Roy Keane has shut down suggestions that Manchester United might be back after Sunday's huge 2-1 win at Liverpool .

Goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Harry Maguire - either side of a Cody Gakpo equaliser - saw United earn their first victory at Anfield since January 2016 under Louis van Gaal. The three points was also the first time United had earned back-to-back wins under Ruben Amorim in the Premier League after beating Sunderland before the international break.

The Reds will now be hoping that their first win at their fierce rivals in almost a decade can lead to a revival under Amorim, with the Portuguese coming under huge pressure this season. Sunday's win has moved them up to ninth in the table - just two points off fourth-placed Liverpool.
