Manchester United defender Harry Maguire insists the win over Liverpool is "definitely not" just three points as United beat their old rivals at Anfield for the first time since 2016.
The Reds got off to the best possible start at Anfield as Amad's through ball caught Liverpool sleeping and Bryan Mbeumo fired past Giorgi Mamardashvili. The hosts searched for an equaliser but were left frustrated as Cody Gakpo hit the post three times.
Gakpo's luck eventually changed in the second half. He was on hand in the centre to tap home from close range and leave Senne Lammens with no chance to make it 1-1.
Entering the final ten minutes, the momentum appeared to be with the hosts but Anfield was silenced late on. After a corner was recycled, Bruno Fernandes clipped a cross to
