A 27-year-old man was being held without bond in the Bell County Jail last week after being sentenced to four years in prison for pointing a handgun and threatening to blow a man’s head off.

On May 1, 2024, a Bell County grand jury indicted Davindra Vick Dyal on a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a third-degree felony charge of tampering with evidence. Dyal entered a guilty plea to both charges on Tuesday and then was found guilty and sentenced by Judge Steve Duskie. Dyal will get credit for time served.

He was booked into the county jail on March 12, 2024.
