We'll start off with some breezy northwest winds today, but these are expected to diminish as the afternoon wears on, leaving us with cooler and sunnier conditions. For the early part of our forecast period, expect clear skies and pleasant temps (slightly above average). As a robust weather system passes to our north, it will bring a return of gusty winds, potentially quite strong, and a chance for light precipitation back to our area. Current models suggest it could bring significant wind gusts, possibly reaching 30 to 40+ mph during the Monday night into Tuesday period. By midweek, behind the system its chilly with overnight lows possibly dipping into freezing temperatures, it's something we will continue to monitor.
