SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The South Dakota State volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win over in-state rival South Dakota Saturday night at Sanford Coyotes Sports Center.

The Jackrabbits dropped the opening set, then rebounded to win the next three in convincing fashion.

The Jackrabbits remain unbeaten in Summit League action at 7-0 and improve to 13-3 overall. South Dakota moves to 12-7 on the year and 4-3 in conference matches.

SDSU set a new program record for a four-set match with 17 blocks as a team.

Sydni Schetnan led the way with nine, followed by Annalee Ventling-Brown with eight.

Sylvie Zgonc tallied 21 kills at a .347 clip for SDSU, both her second-best marks of the season.

The junior also had 11 digs on the night for her ninth double-double of the year.
