Turning Point
The Chargers got off to a sluggish start Sunday but were hanging around early in the second quarter.
Down by 10 points, the Bolts defense had the Colts in a third-and-17 situation, meaning a stop could give the team some momentum and try to cut into the deficit before halftime.
But the Chargers allowed a 48-yard pass play on that third down before the Colts found the end zone for the third straight drive to open the game.
Instead of potentially being down one possession with an offensive score, the Chargers fell behind 20-3 nearing the midway point of the second quarter.
To make matters worse, the Chargers drove near the red zone but Justin Herbert was intercepted off
