ATLANTA — For the third time this young season, the Atlanta Falcons will step into the bright lights of primetime and will continue to seek the success it has found in those big games this year.

Atlanta took on Minnesota in Week 2 on Sunday Night Football and beat the Vikings 22-6 on the road, while they just knocked off the high-powered Buffalo Bills and reigning MVP Josh Allen in Atlanta by a final of 24-14 on Monday Night Football last week.

The Falcons now get their shot at the San Francisco 49ers in Levi's Stadium on Sunday Night Football on NBC. The 49ers are 4-2 on the season, and have mostly been led by backup QB Mac Jones, who has been filling in for QB Brock Purdy who has been on the shelf nursing a toe injury.
