WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Wichita Police Department is hosting an event on Thursday to give individuals with outstanding warrants a 'second chance.'
Second Chance Thursday gives individuals the chance to resolve outstanding traffic warrants, notice to appear (NTA), environmental, and probation violation warrants.
WPD says this is a chance for individuals to streamline the process without the immediate risk of jail.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on October 23 at the Evergreen Community Center and Library, located at 2601 N. Arkansas.
This does not include criminal warrants, DUIs, or warrants from other jurisdictions, such as Sedgwick County.
