A car on a 4 train detached in the Bronx Sunday, the NYPD and MTA said.
Police said they got a call for the incident just after 5:15 p.m.
According to the NYPD, the detached car was discovered near the 149th Street station.
The MTA said there was a decoupling of cars between the third and fourth car.
Police said the MTA removed passengers using rescue trains.
No one was injured, according to authorities.
4 and 5 train service between Manhattan and the Bronx remained suspended as of 10 p.m. Sunday while work to move the train continued, the MTA said on its website.
