STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) - Early Sunday morning, three people were shot on Oklahoma State University's campus at a residential hall.
Students at Carreker East Hall say they are scared after the shooting happened right outside their front door.
"So I originally found out first from a text from a friend saying, Hey, are you okay?" said Isiah Newkirk, resident at Carreker Hall.
Around 3:40 am, OSU Police responded to a call about a gunshot victim outside a McDonald's, close to campus.
"The Oklahoma State University Police Department overheard a call on the Stillwater Radio channel of an injured person at McDonald's on Duck Street. Our officers were the first to arrive," said Chief Michael Beckner, with OSU Police.
Moments later, police received a call about gunfire outside Carraker Hall.
