What the 2025 Green Bay Packers will ultimately become obviously remains to be seen. They haven’t shown much consistency in any facet of their game through seven weeks of the season, and everyone involved with their operation is well aware of that.

Which is why head coach Matt LaFleur’s assessment of where his team currently stands — even after improving to 4-1-1 on the year with Sunday’s 27-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in suburban Phoenix — wasn’t overly surprising.

“A long, long way from the team we want to be,” LaFleur said. “We were far from perfect.”

He’ll get no argument here.
