Debbie Harry has named the Hollywood star she would want to portray her in an upcoming biopic!

The 80-year-old Blondie singer and actress has a documentary and a biopic in the works, and she recently revealed her choice of actress to play her in the latter project.

“If it were somebody like Florence Pugh , I would be in heaven,” Debbie told The Sunday Times . “I just think she’s a great actor and she could do anything.”

According to EW , Florence has also expressed an interest in playing Debbie !

While attending the 2020 Santa Barbara International Film Festival , Florence was asked about famous figures she might want to play on screen.

“ Blondie , just because she’s so cool,” she said, adding another singer to the mix – Dusty Springfield .
