WASHINGTON, Ind. (WFIE) - We have a handful of Tri-State high school soccer teams who are still alive and kicking, in the postseason.

In the Hoosier state, we only have one team remaining, and that’s Heritage Hills boys soccer.

The Patriots won the IHSAA Boys Soccer Class 2A regional championship, with a 3-1 win, over Batesville, on Saturday.

The Patriots played a complete game, with sound defense, stellar goal-keeping from Kane Navarro, and a prolific offensive performance.

This has been their recipe for success, the whole season though, and it sure has worked, as it’s propelled them into next week’s semistate, for just the second time, in school history.
