WA’s The Southern River Band has been announced as AC/DC’s support act for the heavy metal legends’ Perth appearances in December at Optus Stadium.

In what promises to be two electrifying nights of entertainment across December 4 and 8, the hometown favourites will throw their unique rock flavour into a mix that already boasts high voltage star power.

Each major city along AC/DC’s Power Up Aussie tour will see one of its own up in lights, beginning with The Casanovas in Melbourne on November 12.

While pub rock punks and global exports Amyl & The Sniffers will join the rock icons at each location, including stops in Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane.
