Diwali tragedy averted, massive fire guts sack manufacturing factory

Bathinda (Punjab), October 20, 2025: On the festive day of Diwali, a major fire broke out in a sack manufacturing factory located in the Paras Ram Nagar area of Bathinda, sparking panic across the locality. The flames spread rapidly, engulfing the factory within minutes and causing chaos in the surrounding area.

According to reports, the factory is situated in Street No. 37 of Paras Ram Nagar. As soon as residents noticed thick smoke and flames rising from the factory, they rushed to help and began attempting to extinguish the fire on their own. However, the blaze quickly grew out of control due to its intensity.
