In a mid-air scare, a United Airlines aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing after its windshield cracked, injuring one of the pilots.
A United Airlines spokesperson said the Boeing 737 MAX 8 was traveling from Denver to Los Angeles with 143 passengers and six crew members on board.
The incident occurred when the aircraft was flying at 36,000 feet and was suddenly hit by an object that shattered the windshield, injuring the pilot and causing bleeding.
As per reports, photographs circulating on social media show that the pilot sustained cuts on his arms, and shattered glass was seen on the dashboard and in the cockpit. United Airlines has not provided any details about the incident.
