Our unhoused neighbors in Strafford County deserve a real plan

As expected, the new warming center concept for Strafford County in Dover is generating concern and controversy, some understandable, some not. Let's be concerned with what is controllable and addressable. The neighbors have some legitimate concerns that need to be addressed, not just told it won't be an issue. "Trust me" doesn't work because of the lack of actual, thorough planning in the past. Having an actual plan to present on Oct 22 would go a long way. The plan doesn't need to be airtight, it needs to be thoughtful and address the needs of the community, our residents experiencing homelessness, the neighborhoods around the county complex, and the community at large.
