Hyderabad: A man has been arrested for touching a female co-passenger in an inappropriate manner on a flight from Chennai. The man was allegedly drunk at that time.

According to the police, the 38-year-old complainant – an IT professional – was travelling from Chennai to Hyderabad with her husband when the incident happened. ADVERTISEMENT

The accused, in his mid-40s, works in Chennai and was on his way to Uttar Pradesh via Hyderabad when he allegedly committed the crime. He had apparently consumed alcohol before boarding the flight and was in an inebriated state.

The woman claimed that she was sitting with her husband when the incident happened. The couple apparently fell asleep, and when the flight was about to land at the airport, the woman found someone touching her inappropriately
