New Delhi: Six students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), including three office-bearers from the Student Union, were detained by the Delhi Police on Monday, October 20, a day after a brief skirmish between JNU students and the police.

The students were marched to the Vasant Kunj police station on Thursday, October 17. JNU’s students were urged to file an FIR over an attack during the General Body Meeting on their campus. The tensions were rising between left-wing and right-wing student groups.
