PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two weeks after 23-year-old Kada Scott disappeared while working her overnight shift at a senior living community in Chestnut Hill, human remains were discovered behind a vacant school in Philadelphia's Germantown.
Now, a memorial is growing at the scene.
The remains, which police said appeared to be those of a female, were found in a shallow grave in a heavily wooded area.
Law enforcement sources say DNA testing indicates the remains are those of Scott. The sources said Sunday that DNA from the remains matches Scott's parents.
The discovery of human remains comes as the last person to contact the 23-year-old remains in jail.
