Firefighters in The Colony are working to put out a large house fire on Monday morning.

According to officials, the call came in as an explosion on Freeman Drive just before 1 a.m.

Officials said the fire completely destroyed one home and has since spread to at least one other home.

No injuries have been reported, officials said.

The cause of the fire remains unclear at this time.
