A man sustained serious injuries after being hit by a car in Coventry . He was found badly injured in Lower Stoke .

Paramedics were called to Gulson Road at around 9.50am yesterday (October 19). Crews found that a pedestrian had been struck by a car and was seriously injured.

Medics treated the man at the scene for his injuries. He was quickly transported to University Hospital Coventry .

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and urged people with information to come forward. Details can be provided on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
