LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Public Schools announced that one elementary school will not have school on Monday, due to a water main break.

Pyrtle Elementary, located at 84th Street and Sandalwood Drive, will not have classes Monday, because there is no water service at the school, according to Mindy Burbach, LPS Executive Director of Communications.

Burbach says the Lincoln Public Schools Operations team continues to work with the City of Lincoln to address the issue and will be ready for students to return on Tuesday.
