NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A man who is facing several charges, including second-degree murder, in connection to the death of 20-year-old Norfolk State University student Jahari George will be on trial Monday morning.
Cameron Brown, 20, was charged with second-degree murder, conspiracy and use of a firearm in connection with the Sept. 2, 2023 murder of George just after a Spartans home game around 11 p.m.
Recently, in July of 2025, 20-year-old Camari Warren was found not guilty on all charges related to the homicide. One of the other suspects initially charged with murder, Marquas Gregg, had his charges withdrawn in March of 2024.
