Jannik Sinner successfully defended his Six Kings Slam crown on Saturday, beating Carlos Alcaraz in a rematch of last year’s final.
He came out on top again, taking the match 6-2, 6-4.
The Italian will now shift his focus to the Vienna Open, where he is the top seed and considered the player to beat. Despite that status, his first-round draw is no walkover.
Meanwhile, Alcaraz is expected to return for the Paris Masters later this month, with play set to begin on October 27.
Saturday’s match was already their sixth meeting of the year. While Alcaraz has won four of those encounters so far in 2025, this was Sinner’s second victory over him this season.
Tim Henman says Jannik Sinner’s play was a bigger factor than anything Carlos Alcaraz got wrong
