Shabazz Napier is focusing on a coaching career, with the Washington Wizards adding him as a coaching apprentice, according to HoopsHype senior NBA insider Michael Scotto.

Over the last three seasons, the Boston native displayed his talents in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, suiting up for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and FC Bayern Munich. Last season with the German club, he tallied 10.3 points, 3.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per contest over 33 appearances, including three starts.
