The next Nevada County Community Forum will be held at Sierra College – Nevada County Campus on Friday, October 24 from 10:30 to 1:30 am. The topic will be “Survival of rural hospitals and clinics” and the panelists are the CEOs of our local healthcare facilities: Lisa Davies of Chapa-De, Scott Neeley of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital and Jennifer Malone of Western Sierra Medical. The forum will be moderated by Carol Scofield.

The Community Forum is sponsored by the Sierra College Foundation (Nevada

County Campus). The Steering Committee is comprised of: Monte and Judy

East, Lorraine Jewett, Terry McAteer, Karen O’Hara, Carol and Ed Scofield and Ed Sylvester.

The event is free to the public, as is parking on campus.
