LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- Beck Center for the Arts Youth Theater is promising to bring down the house with an upcoming production that kicks off the 2025-26 season.

A show within a show, comedy “Bringing Down The House” appears Oct. 24-26 in the Senney Theater.

Beck Center Associate Director of Theater Education Sarah Clare said the Todd Wallinger-written play just landed on her radar.

“It’s a fun concept, which is perfect for our kids because we really haven’t done that kind of show in a while,” she said.

“It features elements of contemporary theater and kind of poking fun at theater people, which is something theater people love to do.”
