New Castle County police arrested a Middletown man following what they termed a domestic related shots fired incident in Robscott Manor near Newark Saturday night, October 18, 2025.

Officers responded to Sanford Drive around 10 p.m. where they found multiple shell casings outside a home.

The suspect was identified as 36-year old Jonathon Mead.

He was arrested later at his home in a SWAT operation.

No one in the house was hurt.

Mead is being held on $87,000 cash bail on the following charges:

possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony

first degree reckless endangering (4 counts)

possession of a firearm by a person prohibited
