NASHVILLE – The message was never about getting revenge on the team that let him go. For Mike Vrabel , he challenged his players to do something they hadn’t done well.

On Sunday, it was about running the ball - or as players relayed, it was ‘run the damn ball.’

The Patriots entered Sunday ranked 27th in the NFL in rushing. They ranked 31st in yards per carry. They were a team that had yet to rush for 125 total yards in a single game. The message from Vrabel was that they needed to be better. Players on both sides of the ball were pleased that the team accomplished its goal in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.
