FOXBOROUGH — Mike Vrabel wasn’t worried about Drake Maye having a head injury.

The Patriots quarterback left Sunday’s 31-13 win over Tennessee to be checked for a concussion after the back of his helmet hit the turf in Nashville late in the second quarter. Josh Dobbs replaced him for three plays. Maye was quickly cleared and returned to the game after just three plays and directed the end of the team’s touchdown drive.

Maye showed no signs of issues completing 21 of 23 passes for 222 yards, a team-record 91.3 completion percentage.

But Vrabel was asked about Maye again on Monday because sometimes concussion symptoms don’t present until the day afterward. He said Maye was not under any kind of monitoring on Monday.
