India’s biodiverse landscape and rich wildlife heritage achieved a historic milestone recently. Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park became the country’s first destination to officially host a cheetah safari for all visitors and tourists. The safari, which began on October 1, has since boosted the state’s tourism sector, attracting global visitors with the chance to catch a glimpse of the world’s fastest land animal in its natural habitat.
The cheetah safari also symbolises India’s commitment towards wildlife restoration and conservation of the carnivore species, which has significantly reduced in number over the past decades.
