LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) — Volunteers are needed for what university officials are calling a full-scale drill on UK’s campus.
According to the university, the UK Police Department is preparing for a large-scale active aggressor training exercise on Nov. 20 and is asking for volunteers to help make the drill as realistic as possible.
The exercise will involve UKPD officers and other Lexington-area first responders.
Volunteer roles and requirements
Volunteers are needed to serve as victim actors and to assist with setup, takedown, and food service during the drill. Participants will be asked to serve from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the day of the exercise.
