Police are on the lookout for suspects in connection to a shooting at a Marietta strip mall Saturday that left a teen shot.

At approximately 10:15 p.m. Saturday night, officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the strip mall located at 585 Franklin Gateway, near South Marietta Parkway and I-75, to reports of multiple shots fired in the area, according to Officer Chuck McPhilamy, spokesperson for the department.

The address is home to the Nazareth Plaza, which has a variety of restaurants and grocery stores.

When officers arrived, they located a teenage boy who had been struck by gunfire lying between two cars. The victim was transported to Kennestone Hospital.

Preliminary evidence suggests there were two people who fired handguns in the parking lot, McPhilamy said.
