Dr. Jane Goodall was a veritable icon in the field of anthropology and primatalogy. Now, Apple has decided to leverage her distinctively placid voice in a new Mac ad.

Apple: "Great ideas Start On Mac"

Apple has worked hard to establish its Mac devices as creativity-enabling engines. And, it latest ad carries the same thematic message.

The ad features a narration by Dr. Jane Goodall, where her reference to a "flicker on the screen" is being interpreted as a reference to the Mac lineup in Apple's new ad:

"Every story you love, every invention that moves you, every idea you wished was yours, all began as nothing. Just a flicker on a screen, asking a simple question: What do you see?"
