Chilly temperatures arrive this week for eastern Nebraska and western Iowa, especially Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Omaha's Weather Leader has deemed Wednesday and Thursday "impact" days for frost potential in the mornings.

Temperatures are expected to plummet Tuesday night into early Wednesday with light winds and clear skies. Areas of frost are possible across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa with low temperatures Wednesday morning tumbling into the low-to-mid 30s.
